A Brief Introduction

I am a consultant programmer. By nature of personality and profession, I enjoy tinkering. This blog based on WordPress will be in constant flux as I tweak various features and play with new technologies.
At the same time, I am also somewhat of a nomad. I have lived in only two countries at the present time of writing, but I’ve moved residence to a new city every year since graduating college. For a detailed look at my expeditions across the world, check out the Travel Map page.

Struggles of a Programmer

The main purpose of this blog will be to document my progress in various programming projects I take on. I hope to share practical experience with libraries and frameworks I use, along with code snippets when relevant.

Love of Language

I am also dedicating this blog to the pursuit of knowledge. Aside from computer languages, I know three languages fluently, but I aspire to learn a lot more before I’m too old to move. I’m no polyglot, but with the right tools and determination, I’ve been able to acquire languages at an accelerated pace. I’ll occasionally dedicate a post or two at my methods of learning a language, sharing my resources and notes when applicable.

A Roaming Mind and Legs

Language learning consequently implies a fondness for traveling. I may occasionally dedicate a few posts to my travels, but the Photos section will contain highlights and reflections on my recent travels.
